Corrib Road Race - Looking for Volunteers + Runners
Dear PYH Families,
The Corrib Road Race is right around the corner and will take place this coming Sunday, June 4th. We are sending this email today on 2 fronts:
1) To remind those who normally run the race (sign up here)
2) To reach out for volunteer support. For many years the PYH community has supported the race and, in turn, the Corrib Trust has been very generous with their support of Parkway Hockey. It takes many volunteers to make the race a reality and we are encouraging our PYH families (Adults and Kids) to volunteer for the race and help us deepen our relationship with this important community organization.
They are looking for volunteers in two general time slots (great opportunity for those high school kids who have to perform service hours):
7:30 – 9:30 for set up
11:00 - 1:00 for race support
Conal Barbuto, our good friend and former PYH BOD member is overseeing the coordination of all race volunteers so please complete this form to let him know when you plan to help out.
We hope you will consider supporting Conal and the entire community by giving some of your time on the 4th. Volunteer sign in is well marked and is typically at the Billings softball field backstop. When you sign in, don't forget to list PYH as your affiliation so we can show our support of this wonderful community event.
